For over 60 years, Audio-Technica has produced and developed cartridges, and the ATN3600L is our most popular MM/VM (electromagnetic) model that generates power with a magnet and coil. The original ATN3600L was used in Audio-Technica’s AT-PL30 turntable in 1993 and is still used in some of our most popular turntables, such as the AT-SB727 Sound Burger and the AT-LP60X series, thanks to its stable quality and reliability.

The venerable and respected ATN3600L conical bonded stylus has been updated to a more modern design, while still maintaining the same ease of use, quality, and sound quality. It will be newly released under the model name ATN3600LC. The ATN3600LE, an elliptical bonded stylus that is a step up in sound quality over the ATN3600L, is also available. Both models are compatible with the ATN3600L so replacement is simple.
